We are pleased to announce the forthcoming publication of a book symposium on Manuel Almagro’s (University of Valencia) recent book The Rise of Polarization Affects, Politics, and Philosophy (Routledge, 2025), which examines the phenomenon of affective polarization in contemporary democracies. The symposium invites contributions on topics concerning aspects of the book, including but not limited to the relation between affective polarization and political identity, public discourse, or contingent factors affecting our political views.
