Elisabetta Lalumera is Assistant Professor (Ricercatore Vecchio Ordinamento) at the University of Bologna, Department for Life Quality Studies (currently on leave from Milano-Bicocca University from 2020 to 2025). She earned her BA in philosophy in 1997 from Bologna University, and her PhD in Philosophy of Language from Eastern Piedmont University in 2001. As a doctoral student, she was a visiting researcher at Birkbeck college in London (1999-2000) and later a part-time visiting researcher at the Northern Institute of Philosophy in Aberdeen (2011-12).
