New Publication: “Aesthetic Education: A Perceptual-Cognitive Model” by Ted Nannicelli

We are pleased to announce the publication of the second paper in the special issue Aesthetic Education and Screen Stories. The paper, titled “Aesthetic Education: A Perceptual-Cognitive Model,” by Ted Nannicelli (The University of Queensland), is now available.

The paper explores why we invest so much in aesthetic education if “there’s no disputing taste”? In this paper, Ted Nannicelli rethinks the aims of aesthetic education, proposing a “perceptual-cognitive model” that focuses on enhancing our capacities for richer aesthetic experiences.
