New Publication: “Ethics Education from Suffering on Screen? Tragic Visions in Arrival” by James MacAllister

We are pleased to announce the publication of the third paper in the special issue Aesthetic Education and Screen Stories. The paper, titled “Ethics Education from Suffering on Screen? Tragic Visions in Arrival”, by James MacAllister (The University of Edinburgh), is now available.
The paper explores how tragic films, like Villeneuve’s Arrival, can foster ethics education by deepening moral understanding, insights into human nature, and ethical theory, while enhancing their aesthetic value.
